The word "gay" now means rubbish , according to the BBC.
A Radio 1 listener complained about the DJ Chris Moyles ,saying he was being homophobic when he said of a mobile phone ringtone : "I don't want that one ,it's gay"
But the Beeb governors insisted he was just using the modern slang meaning "Lame or rubbish"

it took me forever to get my granddaughters from saying the word gay when they meant lame...told them im sure that's how the word nigger became so popular with black people...and that's not a good thing..they dont use it that way any more and dont know who i am more proud of them, for learning or me for teaching...
I'm proud of you both.
The garbage truck comes today I must put out the gay. (rubbish) hehe
