A rock band sold their instruments to help pay for a demo tape – but then had nothing to play on when they got to the studio.
The Lazarus Plot, from Clapham, South London, had to buy new instruments on a borrowed credit card, then return them for a refund.
They were eventually signed by indie label Illuminated, which releases their first single next week.
Singer Dan Batchelor said: 'We hope to sell enough copies to buy new equipment.'
Go listen to "Doesn't change a thing" on their Myspace , not a bad little ditty :)
