An armed robber who tried to fool witnesses by shaving off his eyebrows has been jailed for seven years.
Ronald McKay was found guilty of using an imitation pistol to threaten staff at the Nether Inn in Dundee's Nethergate.
McKay, of Craigmore Street, Dundee, was also convicted of attempting to pervert the course of justice by altering his appearance for a police ID parade.
Passing sentence, judge Lord Uist told him: "You are an incorrigible rogue."
McKay's accomplice Charles Renton, 25, also of Craigmore Street, pleaded guilty to the robbery before McKay's trial and was sentenced to four years and 10 months.
The court had heard that McKay escaped with just £650 because the pub had banked the weekend takings hours before the robbery on 21 August last year. Staff at the Nether Inn had faced a realistic imitation firearm and demands for cash from safes and a cash box.
