A Dutch adventurer has announced plans to climb Mount Everest, wearing little more than a pair of running shorts.
Self proclaimed 'ice man', 47-year-old Wim Hof already holds several cold-withstanding records.
He once held his breath for six minutes below Artic ice and ran 21 kilometres above the polar circle in Finland naked except for running shorts and no shoes.
For the forthcoming Everest summit attempt, Hof plans to wear climbing boots along with shorts, gloves and a cap.
The Dutchman will set out for Nepal, appropriately perhaps, on April 1
