Mop-up

New York - Phone-tossing supermodel Naomi Campbell is 'mopping up' - literally - as part of her community service sentence handed down by a Manhattan Court after being convicted of hitting her housekeeper over the head with a cell phone.

Campbell was ordered to mop the floors at a New York city warehouse as part of her community service sentence, which Naomi started today. In addition to mopping the floors, Campbell will also be sweeping them. While you can't say the supermodel is "cleaning up" in the high-profile modeling industry, it is giving Campbell a lesson in humility - which was the intention of the New York judge that sentenced Naomi.

In January, Naomi Campbell pleaded guilty to striking her maid in the head with a cell phone and was fined $363, ordered to attend a few anger management classes, and sentenced to community service. Campbell had been given a reprieve by the judge to start her community service work after the spring modeling period, which Naomi just completed.
