This sponge crab so called because it wears a live sponge on its head for camouflage is normally found in West Africa but was netted by deep sea fisherman Richard Rome while deep sea fishing off Plymouth in Devon. Traditionally, crabs even use their pincers to trim the sponge, keeping themselves nice and tidy
