Bogus Lottery tickets

Pennsylvania - A Schuylkill County man gets probation for planting a bogus "winning" lottery ticket at his work.

James Koons, Jr. of Hegins will serve a year on probation and pay a $2500 fine. Koons created a fake ticket on his computer, and then hid it under a newspaper at the Roadway Express in Carlisle.

Koons said the lottery ticket was just a joke, but police say the prank became a crime when an unwitting co-worker tried to claim the Powerball jackpot.
