Wrong mountains

A travel poster spotted in India reads: "Have You Seen Nepal?" but the mountains pictured surround Peru's own Machu Picchu, according to Peruvian mountain climber Ernesto Malaga.

The official news agency Andina reported that Malaga was in New Delhi when he saw the poster, meant to promote visits to Nepal's Himalayas, 16,000 kilometers (10,000 miles) in the opposite direction.

But Nepal Airlines, which does not fly to Machu Picchu, confused the land of the llama with the mountains of the Dalai Lama.

A
UNESCO world heritage site, Machu Picchu was the mystical "lost city" of the Incas until it was re-discovered in 1911 by US adventurer Hiram Bingham -- in Peru.

Very interesting, I am sure Nepal would not like to swap the Himalayas with Machu Picchu and vice-versa!
