Cat card

The Bank of Queensland has apologised after granting a credit card to a pet cat in Melbourne.

South Morang resident Katherine Campbell obtained a card for her cat "Messiah", which was attached to the woman's existing account.

It has been reported she was testing the bank's identity screening.

The Bank of Queensland says people who apply for credit cards must sign to confirm the information they have provided is true and not misleading.

damn shame when pets can get credit and I can't...

She'll be maxing out her Am-Ex card on catnip and tinned salmon.
