INDIANAPOLIS -- What could be better than free beer for the Super Bowl? How about having Super Bowl Monday off, too?
Employees of the Monarch Beverage Co. will be enjoying a long football weekend. The Indianapolis beer-and-wine distributor is making Monday a paid holiday for all of its more than 600 workers.
The workers were given a free six-pack of Blue Moon beer and a Super Bowl T-shirt when they clock-out for the weekend. Company officials said they decided to make Monday a holiday for everyone, because they couldn't handle all the requests for time off
