New Zealand - Forget litres of water and Nurofen. One plucky Trade Me user has come up with a novel way of getting rid of a hangover - selling it online.
The hangover, which the seller claims is 'imported from Ireland' is listed under the online auction's alcohol-related collectables section. It has had only one owner, who is said to be 'in terrible condition.'
Prospective buyers have questioned how bad the hangover really is. On the auction listing the seller wrote: "(it) left me so delusional, that I thought auctioning it on Trade Me was the only way to possible get rid of it. Amazingly, people have actually bid for it...I wouldn't buy it. Well, maybe if I was drunk."
So far the leading bid for the hangover is $10.81 and the seller has pledged to donate all proceeds of the auction to Women's Refuge.
The auction, which closes on Friday, is only open to those over the age of 18.
