Maybe a little birdie told him to do it.
An Ohio golfer who had to get to a friend's wedding but figured he was too boozed-up to drive his truck, drove a golf cart to the ceremony nearly eight miles away, police said.
Jeremy Clary, 29, who was drinking and golfing all day last Saturday at Cherokee Hills Golf Club in Valley City left during the outing and made it to the wedding.
But he was stopped on the way back by a cop who arrested him for DUI.
He reportedly had a blood-alcohol level twice the legal limit, and cops said the cart did not have a seat belt or headlights.
Clary said he thought it was safer because the cart went no faster than 10 mph.
