RED BLUFF, Calif. - On Friday, eight sets of twins will graduate from Red Bluff Union High School. The 16 include three sets of identical twins and five pairs of fraternal twins. Four of them are brother-and-sister combinations.
"When you look alike and you are in the same class, your teacher often gets you mixed up," said twin Brittany Arnett. The twins say they'll have an especially hard time separating to start college, careers and families.
"When you are used to always doing things together, there has always been someone with you," said twin Amanda McChesney.
Some of the twins still bristle at being dressed alike as youngsters, or getting the same gifts at Christmas. "We may share the same birthday, but we have completely different personalities," Andria Ellis said of her twin brother, Derek.
The same goes for twins Brittany and April Arnett. Brittany wants to be a veterinarian; April, a firefighter. "There are a lot of opposites, but there are also a lot of similarities," said Brittany.
