A man has been arrested in America for walking down a road wrapped in a giant snake.
The man, identified as Curtis Dewberry, 35, was seen strolling merrily down the highway in Mastic, New York on Tuesday, with a 14-foot python wrapped around his body.
Dewberry was spotted by an officer from the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, who – being perturbed by the sight of a man walking down the road wrapped in python – called the police.
Pythons are considered a danger to the public.
The police arrived, and arrested Dewberry, who has now been charged with animal cruelty and failure to protect the public against dangerous wildlife.
The snake was not available for comment.
