Time to buy a cell phone

MONSON, Mass. -- A Massachusetts man said he intends to buy a cell phone now, after being trapped for four days in his car after it went off the road and crashed.

Raymond Vachon, 59, ate the Wheat Thin crackers he keeps in his car because he is a diabetic and drank the dew off leaves and his windshield.

Vachon lost control of his car early Tuesday while driving home from his overnight job as a security guard. He was rescued Saturday morning after a man out walking his dog heard his cries for help and called 911.

Vachon suffered a leg fracture and was weak and dehydrated when he was rescued. He said he tried to make it out on his own but couldn't.
