Giant lobster freed

BETHLEHEM, N.H. -- Monstro the lobster is destined to a fate better than butter. The giant lobster has been returned to the ocean off the New England coast.

The 15-pound crustacean spent the last month in the lobster tank at Fred Cunha's Angelica's Restaurant in Bethlehem.

Cunha's 7-year-old daughter wanted the lobster freed, but some customers wanted Monstro for dinner. So, Cunha sold raffle tickets for $1 apiece.

Winner Claire Lupton doesn't eat lobster and said a lobster that big shouldn't end up on a dinner plate. So, the big guy was set free.

Shame I didn't catch that bastard, I would have made a "po boy" out of him.
