Bachelorettes calendar

Women from the Top End town of Batchelor have stripped off for charity.

Last year a group of local men famously posed naked for the Bachelors in Batchelor calendar.

Now the town's women have had a turn, with 24 bachelorettes - aged between 18 and 64 - getting their clothes off to raise money for a local festival.

Photographer Anna Reynolds says there were some memorable moments during the shoots.

"I found myself in a creek bed at the height, the heat of the day with two pythons and three women and a couple of whip snakes and the snake handler and a pusher and a baby, and that was my first photograph," she said.
