Shania Twain breaks dominoes record

A new record for knocking dominoes over was set in the Dutch town of Leeuwarden when a team set up and toppled more than 4,250,000 of them.

The monster set took more than 60 days to put together. It fell down in an hour and a half, climbing stairs and setting off chain reactions on the way.

The team's leader, known as Mr Domino, spent over a year designing the course.

The team needed to beat their own world record of 3,847,295 pieces, which they did by 400,000 dominoes.

Singer Shania Twain set the whole thing in motion by toppling the first piece.

All the effort paid off as Leeuwarden made its way into the record books once more.
