Dog radio in Thailand

Inspired by a US radio show for pets, a Thai dog lover has reportedly launched a round-the-clock online music radio program for canines.

DogRadioThailand.com, which made its debut on Wednesday, offers both vocal and instrumental music for dogs, the English-daily Bangkok Post said, quoting radio program operator Anupan Boonchuen.

"I've noticed that dogs often respond to music. Some wag their tails. Some lift their heads while lying on the floor," said Anupan.

"When you love someone or something dearly, you will always think of good things for them, like I dream of a special radio program for dogs," he said.

Anupan said his dog's favorite music was Thai folk songs, adding that the animals' favored music tended to reflect their owners' taste.
