Fire CRACKERS

TAMPA, FL -- A 16-year-old from Tampa is recovering from burns he received when someone put a lit firecracker in his pocket.

Fire rescue officials say Derrick Underwood was with a group yesterday throwing fireworks at one another. The teen was seriously injured and taken to the hospital with second and third degree burns on his backside and thigh.

Reports say the teen ran for nearly a block with his pants on fire before removing them.
