The World Mountain Bike Bog Snorkelling Championships are held in WaunRhydd peat bog and attract about 30 riders. Competitors must cycle two lengths of a six-foot deep, 45-yard trench on a special lead-weighted bike wearing a weighted backpack. Bring your own snorkel! The winner takes home an engraved glass goblet.
The championships take place on 9th July in Llanwrtyd Wells, Powys, West Wales. Llanwrtyd Wells , the smallest town in Britain , is famous for its bizarre events, including the Man v Horse marathon and the Bog Triathlon. It's also a great location for walking, cycling and real ale!

Ale is proper beer ! Non - fizzy brown stuff made from hops , I spose it is warm compared to the tasteless piss you call beer ( sorry Budweiser - sue me !)
