SWARTZ CREEK, Mich. -- A woman who placed a 10-cent bet at a Michigan horse track has won $21,584.
The woman's name wasn't released.
She made the bet Friday at Sports Creek Raceway in Swartz Creek, about 55 miles northwest of Detroit.
She placed two 10-cent Superfecta bets on a race being simulcast from the Hollywood Park track in Inglewood, Calif.
The Superfecta requires gamblers to pick the four top-finishing horses in correct order.
She returned to the track Monday to collect her winnings.

Hi penrick :) I guess it's the same as the lottery, I'm forever getting two numbers ( which wins zip) and the some 120 year old with sixty-three cats wins 5 million ,and bequeaths all the £ to said cats ... it really gets on my noggin.
JS my Grandad used to bet 10p's on the horses, he'd get so excited during the race, them come back all grins with his 43p winnings. God bless him may he rest in peace.
